Pip Walker completed a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) / Bachelor of Law from Otago University in New Zealand and graduated in 2012. Following the completion of her studies Pip was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and as such, is qualified to practice in New Zealand.
In 2013, Pip was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria as well as in the High Court of Australia in 2013. Prior to joining Pigdon Norgate, Pip worked exclusively in family law and associated family violence matters in litigation focused firms in Melbourne, before moving to NSW.
Pip joined Pigdon Norgate in 2017 and continues to work exclusively in all areas of family law. Pip is committed to where possible, negotiating swift and cost effective settlements without the need for litigation. Where litigation is required, Pip is a dedicated and passionate advocate for her clients within the Court setting having represented clients in both the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court in both parenting and property applications.
Pip has a passion for social justice and in particular human rights, gender equality and matters relating to the LGBTQI community. Pip has acted in many same sex matters including out of time applications, matters involving parties seeking to be deemed parents and child support applications.
